My Favorite Resources for Life and Career Inspo

My Favorite Resources for Life and Career Inspo by Emily Pik // Career coaching for young professionals, quarter lifers, and recent grads. In a life transition or looking for leadership development? I can help!

I will continue to update this list! Here’s what I’m currently listening to and reading (or re-reading*) related to our careers, managing others, and mindsets**:

*Different mentors, friends, and colleagues in my life have recommended the majority of these resources. I am so glad I found them when I did. I shuffle things up every week and have a routine with just a few of them. While it’s hard, I recommend picking a few podcasts and a couple of books to start with. Research other organizations if the ones I list don’t resonate with you! And follow them on social + subscribe to their newsletters. These are what work for me

**If you ever want recommendations related to health, wellness, news, or other topics—reach out to me via Instagram @emilypikcoaching or take a look at my Goodreads page! I want to hear from you.

Female-focused resources and org’s

Negotiation

  • 81cents: https://www.81cents.com/

I’m a reviewer for 81cents. Their platform and mission is fully aligned with my coaching—always ask. 81cents works with women and minorities to help them get paid fairly. “Women still earn 81 cents for every dollar men earn on average, and the statistics look even more dismal when you consider race and underrepresented gender identities. We know we can do more.”

Personal wealth

  • Factora: https://factorawealth.com/about

I personally am an alum of Factora and have a great deal of respect for the founder & CEO, Allegra, and the Chief Content Officer, Julia. Factora Wealth Circles are safe, actionable spaces where women learn the money fundamentals that nobody else taught us. By the way, my Factora Circle is where I first expressed my desire to start my own business + be an entrepreneur! It’s also how I found my coach, she was a member of the Circle.
